High Definition:

High Definition is a new standard being enforced by the FCC; entailing all TVs must be High Definition capable by the end of 2006. Thus, this is changing the features of TVs and, consequently, prices. We are currently in a transition period as of now, with both Satellite and Cable Companies featuring High Definition packages. Coincidently, customers must acquire not only the new TVs, but also the new boxes provided by either Satellite or Cable Companies.
Of course, this proposes the question: Why should I change to High Definition?
Not only does the picture have 1080 lines of resolution (over twice than that of DVD's.), but High Definition is wide-screen and features 5.1 surround sound. THe widescreen and surround sound give a feel that's more natural to what we actual perceive. Talk about being in the action. Here is our selection of all High-Definition TVs. Of course, the High-Definition receivers are not built-in, these sets are more like monitors. There are also CableCard slots to bypass the use of a Cable Box.
